bot0 separates the cost of collaboration from the cost of scientific compute. The desktop app is free. Teams pay for a shared research workspace. Variable model, search, sandbox, storage overage, and managed compute usage is funded with Bytespace Credits or your own API keys.

Credits are a dollar-denominated wallet for model calls, hosted search, image APIs, sandboxes, managed compute, and overages.
BYOK stays open
If you bring your own provider keys or run local compute, bot0 should keep working without a Bytespace credit balance.
Platform fee on top-ups
A $100 credit purchase can be shown as $100 credits plus a $10 platform fee, covering payments, routing, usage tracking, and spend controls.
Storage is bounded
Seats include pooled storage. Large datasets trigger admin alerts and require an upgrade, storage add-on, BYO bucket, or explicit credit-funded overage.
Credits are separate from seats so teams can control compute spend.
Seat plans pay for the hosted workspace, identity, team context, and included storage. Bytespace Credits pay for variable services like frontier models, Exa-style search, image APIs, Daytona-style sandboxes, managed compute, and approved storage overages. Storage overages do not silently drain credits unless an admin enables it.
